On May 18, 2018, Deadpool 2 was released in theatres. Since then, fans have been wondering when Deadpool 3 will be launched. Who will be in charge of the direction? Who will write the script? And, most importantly, what do all of Disney and Marvel’s superhero genre innovations entail for our favorite superheroes, particularly the Merc with a Mouth? We’re starting to get some responses now. Let’s dig deeper into the action world of Deadpool 3.
Deadpool 3 Release Date
Deadpool 3 does not yet have an official release date, although it is in the works. While there was much uncertainty about what would happen to the picture, former Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that Marvel Studios has long planned to make other Deadpool films. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige expressed his enthusiasm in continuing the franchise. While screenwriters have been engaged for the follow-up, Feige has announced that the film will not be released in theatres anytime soon. Deadpool 3 isn’t expected to start filming until 2022 at the earliest.
Deadpool 3 Cast
Considering that the actor is universally adored in character and was a major intellectual influence behind the first two films, Ryan Reynolds is likely to take his place as Wade Wilson. In the first two films, the actor played the namesake Marvel anti-hero, and he’s getting ready to rock the red and black outfit once again in Deadpool 3. The characters of his supporting cast that reappear beside him are still unknown, with Morena Baccarin’s love interest Vanessa proving particularly tough to figure out. She was gone for the majority of the previous film, although in the closing moments, Deadpool appeared to travel through time to forestall her killing — or is that simply a flight of fancy? Fans will also need to see much of Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino, as well as future X-Force team members. Their major appearances in the first two films, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Stefan Kapii) are excellent prospects to resurface. After collaborating with Ryan Reynolds in Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne Johnson made waves when he indicated a desire to play Weapon X experiment Garrison Kane in the third film. Unfortunately, he has already moved through with plans for his long-Awal and Black Adam film as part of the DC Extended Universe, putting him out of contention to work with Marvel.
Deadpool 3 Plot
Ryan Reynolds has hinted that the future film will take an entirely different path. But it all hinges on the sister Molyneux, who is in charge of writing the script. Hopefully, their vision for the Deadpool 3 script comes together. “You can put [Deadpool] in with any one of those characters, or an ensemble of those characters, and it intensifies what you’re doing,” Leitch explained. So that’s probably one thing they’re thinking about, and hopefully, they’re thinking about other things as well.” The plot is unclear because there is no information available at this time. However, we know that after Deadpool 2, Wade owned Cable’s time travel device, which also appears to allow the user to travel across dimensions. This jump across worlds is likely to weigh substantially into the plot of Deadpool 3, and Cable’s convenient time travel/dimension-hopping device should be smack at the center of the festivities if Marvel Studios plays it properly (and let’s face it, they play everything perfectly).

The cast is amazing and has won numerous awards. The direction is clear and fast-paced. The action and humor never cease, which is a pleasant surprise for comic book enthusiasts. Deadpool 3 should be released shortly, hopefully. Though it may seem as if we’ve been waiting an eternity for a film that many said would never materialize, Deadpool 3 is still on the way!
